Sage Tuition is led by a former secondary school Maths teacher with extensive experience teaching students from Year 7 upwards, across all levels of ability.

 

As a former Assistant Curriculum Lead, I have written assessments, analysed results, and used data to drive meaningful progress.

 

I am also a GCSE examiner, giving me valuable insight into how students are assessed and how they can succeed. With this experience, I offer structured, personalised support that builds confidence and helps every student reach their potential.

Our lessons are fully online and designed to be interactive, supportive, and engaging. Every session begins with a calm environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and build confidence.

 

We focus first on developing strong foundational knowledge, then gradually move towards independent practice, with guidance always available.

 

Lessons regularly include retrieval practice - using short starter tasks to revisit previous topics and strengthen long-term understanding.

Our mission is to build confidence in every student we work with. We understand that many learners find Maths challenging, and we’re here to change that experience through patient, tailored support.

 

By creating a calm, encouraging environment and focusing on individual progress, we help students feel capable, motivated, and in control of their learning.

 

Our goal is for each student to not only improve their understanding, but to achieve the results they’re aiming for - and leave every session feeling more confident than when they started.
